Earlier this week, Weightlifting Western Australia posted on their socials that their first in person competition was locked in and going ahead on the 19th of July.
As one of the first states to lift restrictions on gyms, they are ahead of the pack and great to see they are trying to get back to some normality, but obviously staying within the government’s safety guidelines.
Their post:
“The planning for the first WWA non iSO Competition since WA gyms have opened is underway! Things will be a little different at this competition, as we will need to adhere to the most up to date COVID-19 guidelines published by the WA State Government.
Please note that the Open Competition will be limited in number.
